ALEX & AMELIA

THE OAK TREE OF PEOVER.

The Oak Tree of Peover really is one of Cheshire’s top wedding venues. Alex & Amelia chose the full photography package from bridal prep all the way until the first dance.

bridal prep

Ellie has been a follower of mine on Instagram for a few year now and it was a pleasure to meet her at Stockport Town Hall for the first time. I photograph many weddings at Stockport Town Hall, probably because I live here and have been visiting the Town Hall since a child so I naturally know the area well.

As it was Halloween, the registrars were in the spirit and wore their devil horns. It was a very intimate ceremony but just how Ellie & Jaya liked it.

As soon as I arrive at any venue, I’m always looking for some interesting angles to shoot, never sticking a camera in people’s faces.

GROOM PREP.

Ellie & Jaya were now married and was time for the best bit, CONFETTI!

The confetti shot never fails to bring joy to the newly weds and the guests. I don’t just expect everyone to know what to do so I help everyone line up very quickly and bring the newly weds out to face the chaos. Love it!

THE PERFECT OUTDOOR
WEDDING
IN CHESHIRE.

Alex & Amelia chose to have their ceremony outside in the grounds of the venue. It offers a huge area for all the guests to sit comfortably. The weather really was on our side and everyone was able to enjoy the glorious setting.

confetti time and games on the lawn.

The Oak Tree of Peover really offers everything all under one roof. Once the guests made there way outside to the front of the building, I quickly lined everyone up for the all important confetti moment. There’s so much space for the newly weds to enjoy while I capture from a distance. We quickly had some group shots so guests could enjoy the garden games and chat. I left Alex & Amelia to enjoy themselves and I just shoot from a distance at this point.

Speeches & wedding breakfast.

The Oak Tree of Peover has two separate rooms. The whole wedding breakfast was in one room which has so much natural light, i was able to capture the joy and emotion of the whole room and just mingle in.

Evening couple shots.

As the wedding was mid summer, we were able to enjoy some evening couple shots in the surrounding fields to the venue. It’s always a photographers dream to be able to make use of the light at this time of day. Furthermore Alex & Amelia were able to really let their hair down at this point. I never pull couple’s away from enjoying their day with their family and friends.

thank you alex & amelia
