Stockport Town Hall Wedding Photographer.
As a regular Stockport Town Hall Wedding Photographer, I always meet many couple’s who are having a smaller gathering. Kieron & Michelle’s wedding was on a cold New Year’s Eve morning and chose my Micro Package to cover them for the ceremony and couple photographs which were really important for them.
Photographing Kieron & Michelle’s wedding was the most enjoyable wedding I have ever shot. As I always say, it doesn’t matter where your wedding is or how many guests you have. As with all weddings, I still provide you with memories to last forever.
Ceremony in the robert hyde room.
Being asked to photograph any wedding is always an honour. Kieran & Michelle chose Stockport Town Hall on a cold New Year’s Eve morning with just close family. I first met nervous Kieron for the first time outside the doors, I liked Kieron straight away and put him mind at ease about having his photograph taken. As a regular Stockport Town Hall Wedding Photographer, I have usually met the Registrars too.
Michelle arrived in a huge limo and made her way up the slop with her family.
It’s all very relaxed at Stockport Town Hall, it’s very much away from the general public so you really do get privacy. The ceremony itself only lasted 20 minutes and Kieron & Michelle were pronounced Man & Wife.
CONFETTI FOR THE NEWLY WEDS.
Following the ceremony, it was time for the confetti moment. I quickly lined all the guests up outside and the newly weds were greeted with a lot of confetti, you can never have enough!
Furthermore, I do love the confetti moment and the great thing about Stockport Town Hall, you’re really out of the way of the public hustle and bustle.
During outdoor shots I always walk around the corner to the entrance on the main road for more confetti and group shots. It always amazes me how the building looks like it’s in the middle of Portugal and not Stockport. You’d never know the building was on the A6 when you look back at the photographs.
A WALK AROUND THE TOWN HALL.
Generally with many of our Northern Town Hall, they’re the few remaining pieces of history remaining that identify our historic towns. Furthermore I always try an have a stroll around the outside of the building for some couple shots.
Rather than run off, Kieron and Michelle were really keen on having some shots of each other so I really was in my element.
Undoubtedly, couple shots are my favourite part of all weddings. Whenever any couple specifically wishes to have extra time for couple shots I unquestionably jumped at the chance.
UNDERBANK.
the new berlin.
During our preparation phone call, we had previously arranged to walk to the Underbank area of the Town. Significantly the area is now really changing for the better. Being from borough of Stockport I’ve seen many parts change and sometime’s not change.
Indeed, new investment is making the way for new and modern homes and new businesses are bringing a fresh approach to design.
The Market area of Stockport has been in many tv shows over the years, it’s one of those Northern Towns which has held onto it’s history through investment and vision.
However, I’m not sure where the term “The New Berlin Came from really. Possibly the DJ Luke Una, who knows, it’s not Berlin though but I do love walking around the area.
Specifically, Kieron and Michelle were great fun to photograph and really braved the cold while we walked around the Town.
