ROCHDALE
TOWN HALL
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Rochdale Town Hall really is one of the most magnificent buildings in the North of England. This Grade 1 listed building is the ceremonial headquarters for Rochdale Council. It’s always a pleasure to photograph weddings here and I’m particularly interested in the architecture of Northern Town Halls.

A FUN WEDDING IN ONE OF THE FINEST BUILDINGS IN THE NORTH.

I first met Jenny outside the Town Hall while she was climbing out of a Limmo. I knew straight away this was going to be a fun wedding.

CONFETTI TIME
& Couple SHots.

This is possible the largest ever area you could come across for a confetti shot, apart from Duomo Square in Italy perhaps. What a backdrop, and hardly anyone else in site. I soon lined everyone up so the newly weds could enjoy that special moment. Guests headed back inside to enjoy drinks while the three of us had a stroll for some couple shots. I do take a few for the family picture frame but this is a very non posey, no cheese.

Next it was off for the reception at The Old School Rooms.

A RECEPTION AT THE OLD SCHOOL ROOMS.

I’ve photographed quite a few wedding now at The Old School Rooms. It’s a great space for a wedding reception, basically the size of a large church hall.

We decided to have another confetti walk, not quite sure why it happened, it just did. I’m always up for another confetti shot. Next, it was back inside for speeches. With so much space, it’s ideal for photography to capture the joy and emotion, I particularly photographing speeches.

the smiths tRIBUTE BAND.

A band at a wedding is always guaranteed to get the party going. Not only a band but a Smiths tribute band. They really were the best I’ve seen. Everyone was dancing whatever the age including me! They really did get the party going. A brilliant end to a fun, fantastic day and it was a pleasure to meet Joe & Jenny.

THANK YOU JOE & JENNY
