PETE & OLIVIA

the PORTICO LIBRARY, manchester.

As a regular Portico Library wedding photographer, it was a pleasure to meet Pete & Olivia

A civil ceremony at Portico Library only takes less than half an hour and without the expense of a wedding venue. Furthermore, the Registrars are very helpful to all wedding guests. Being a regular Portico Library Wedding Photographer I get to know the building and staff well which particularly helps put my couple’s at ease.

Pete & Olivia were the perfect couple to photograph. Furthermore, their family and friends were an absolute pleasure to photograph too.

BRIDAL PREP AT WHITWORTH LOCKE.

Olivia and her bridal party were staying at Whitworth Locke so it was a perfect opportunity to capture an hour of bridal prep. You don’t always need hours of coverage but it really does help everyone feel at ease with the cameras around. Documentary photography at bridal prep is one of my favourite parts of the day and a chance for evryone to get used to me. After the reveal of Olivia’s dress to her dad, it was off for a short walk to Portico Library.

SUCH A UNIQUE VENUE IN MANCHESTER.

The Portico Library really is a truly unique venue for a wedding ceremony. Pete was eagerly waiting with their son as the ring bearer as Olivia walked down the aisle. The Registrar from Manchester City Council pronounced the happy couple Man & Wife.

a walk around town.

Once married, guests made their way to Whitworth Locke ready for the party. MeanwhileI headed for a walk with the newly weds and a few bridesmaids around the City.

a party at Whitworth locke.

Once we were finished with couple shots, the guests were waiting at Whitworth Locke to greet the newly weds and more confetti. I usually shoot confetti shots from the entrance but I thought I would mix it up a little.
