Lowry Theatre, Salford

What a venue to photograph! The Lowry theatre, Salford is situated at pier 8 at Salford Quays. The former Salford docks site has been completely transformed from once a derelict site in the 90's. Gemma & Stacey are local theatre-goers so booking the Lowry was a must. Looking out over Manchester ship canal and Media City made for a really interesting shoot. It did rain but this is Manchester so we're used to it.
I got to know Gemma & Stacey really well in the months leading up to their big day and had various locations prepared for the day. The only surprise was the venue allowing us to use one of the empty theatres for a photoshoot with their family and all the guests.
