As a Didsbury Wedding Photographer, it was a pleasure to meet Matthew & Emily. Furthermore they really wanted my relaxed style of photography. Undoubtedly the most enjoyable part of any wedding day is making couple’s feel at ease throughout the time.
Photographing Matthew & Emily’s wedding was one of the most enjoyable weddings I have ever shot in Manchester. As I always generally say, it doesn’t matter where your wedding is or how many guests you have. As with all weddings, I still provide you with memories to last forever.
BRIDAL PREP AT HOME.
Undoubtedly being asked to photograph any wedding is always an honour. Emily chose her family home for her bridal prep along with all her friends and I popped in for an hour or so. I particularly enjoy the chaos of bridal prep, you just don’t know what’s going to happen.
Before we knew it, it was soon time to walk to the church together which was great fun to photograph.

Walking to the Church is always great fun, I particularly love to shoot movement rather than posed photographs. Whenever a Bridal party has the chance to walk to the Church it’s always a great for different shots. Emily sensibly made her way in a car
Meanwhile, Matthew was waiting nervously at the front of the Church while Emily’s bridesmaids made their way to the front. Emily was lead down the aisle by her proud Dad.
The great thing about a Church wedding is that there’s so much space to move around in.
CONFETTI AND on the bus.
Matthew & Emily were eventually pronounced Man & Wife and we were able to enjoy the confetti moment. It’s undoubtedly a favourite part for me wherever your wedding is located. Furthermore, it’s a set of photographs which you’ll have on your wall for many years to come.
Following confetti it’s always a good time for a few group photos, you’ll never get everyone together again after this point.
Getting on an old red bus is always great entertainment for all the guests and it keeps all the guests together of course.

Golf Club.
Northenden Golf club is a popular venue due to it’s South Manchester location. The club house offers a great service with ample space for a medium size wedding. We were indeed lucky with the weather and guests were able to enjoy the balcony as well as the lawn area.
SPEECHES.
I particularly enjoy speeches, especially when it’s easy to move around. I always keep my distance and move around, you hardly even know I’m there.
