CHADKIRK CHAPEL.
As a regular Chadkirk Chapel Wedding Photographer, it was a pleasure to get back this wonderful venue in the Romily area of Stockport. The building dates back to the 16th Century. The venue was eventually bought by Stockport Council and renovated in 1995.
Bridal prep at the family home.
I first met Katie at her family home, not far from Chadkirk Chapel. I always like bridal prep, it’s a great chance for everyone to get used to having a photographer around and before you know it, you hardly even know I’m there.
The weather was perfect so everyone could enjoy some fiz outside on the lawn. Once ready it was time to get some last minute group shots of the family and bridesmaids before getting into the chauffeur driven Mercedes cars.

Katie’s Dad proudly walked his daughter down the aisle while a very nervous William waited for his bride.
Chadkirk Chapel is a non religious venue and John from Stockport Council’s Registration service pronounced the happy couple Man & Wife.

William & Katie were now married and it was time to greet all their friends and family outside the main door for the confetti. It never fails to create such a celebration where everyone can give a good cheer.
The gardens are fantastic at Chadkirk Chapel, very well look after by volunteers. Although the gardens are open to the public, it’s really not a problem, I’m very used to taking photographs of couple’s in public places. We just took a stroll, had a laugh and before we knew it we were back to the guest.I never force couple’s to pose, there’s just no need.
