TWIN OAKES WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
CARL & Jackie
Twin Oakes Wedding Photographer- I had the pleasure in photographing Carl & Jackie at Twin Oakes. Furthermore, it has guest rooms which are great for some bridal prep. Since first photographing weddings here some many years ago, I’ve got to know the venue well. Furthermore as a regular Twin Oakes Wedding Photographer I think it’a great local venue. Unquestionably it has a fantastic marquee with tons of space and natural light.
Carl & Jackie specifically decided to have a full day’s package and I started documenting their day at their home. Twin Oakes has been home to many weddings over the years and it really is undoubtedly a great place to get married. Furthermore not only do you have the building itself but the gardens too which are the perfect backdrop for those couple portraits.

BRIDAL PREP
Instead of going straight to the venue I first arrived at Carl & Jackie’s house to capture the guys getting ready. All was quite calm and most of the time was spent fixing their hair! I generally try and capture some of the guys prep where I can, not jus the ladies. Following the hair fixing it was off to Twin Oakes where I met Jackie and the ladies. Furthermore Twin Oakes has a number of guest rooms which were perfect for bridal prep.
CEREMONY & Reception
Finally Carl waited for his Bride in the Ceremony Room, a very emotional time for them and their children and grandchildren. During the ceremony I do love to capture the emotion of a wedding ceremony, albeit from a distance to respect a couple’s privacy. Meanwhile Jackie had a surprise for Carl, a local Drag artist to disturb the ceremony as a joke- All captured in this documentary of their wedding.
Despite the torrential rain, it was off for the confetti and group shots. I generally tend to do these very quickly so the bide and groom can get on with enjoying their day. Following the formalities, Carl & Jackie made a grand entrance into the marquee followed by the singing waiters who really got the guests on their feet singing along. During the meal I generally tend to have a quick break while the guests enjoy their meal.
Speeches were indeed very emotional and Carl was comforted by friends and family. I especially enjoy speeches when the room is big enough to walk round. Furthermore the marquee has tons of natural light and I could really enjoy capturing the guests and speakers.
Finally the singing waiters really got the party started and the party erupted, all to be caught on camera.
